Unlock Your Child’s Potential
with Expert Academic Support.

Providing specialized psycho-educational evaluations and evidence-based
tutoring to give families clarity and hope for their child's learning journey.

Many parents notice a persistent gap between their child’s natural intelligence and their actual performance in the classroom. You may see nightly homework turn into an hour-long struggle or watch a bright student begin to shut down because reading, decoding, or math calculation feels out of reach. Our private evaluations look past the surface to answer the primary question on your mind: what is truly standing in my child’s way?

We identify specific learning profiles and executive functioning gaps to offer a clear, technical roadmap for academic success.

By bringing veteran school-based expertise into a private and supportive environment, we help you translate daily patterns into an actionable plan for your student’s future. Understanding these unique needs is the first step in moving from frustration to the clarity required for effective support.

Many families sense that something is not quite clicking at school. Homework takes too long, reading is a struggle, or a bright child seems frustrated and shut down. Our private academic services are designed to answer the question, “What is really going on, and how can we help?”

Devoted Educational Solutions offers comprehensive academic evaluations and targeted tutoring that translate school data into clear, practical plans for families. We bring our school-based expertise directly to you in a professional yet approachable setting.

The Path to Clarity

Our private evaluations move beyond simple testing to analyze reading, writing, and math alongside the executive functioning skills that dictate daily success. By identifying these core obstacles, we provide families with a clear and technical report.

Each evaluation concludes with a feedback session designed to give you specific recommendations to advocate for your child. This roadmap allows you to partner with your child’s school to ensure their unique learning profile is supported with the right interventions.

Our academic assessments go beyond simple grade-level testing. We look at reading, writing, and math skills, as well as attention, processing, and executive functioning that affect day-to-day learning. When needed, we coordinate with your child’s school to align our findings with IEPs or 504 plans.

Parents receive a clear, written report and a feedback session that explains results in everyday language. You leave with specific recommendations you can share with the school, use at home, and use to advocate for appropriate supports.

  • Reading decoding, fluency, and comprehension
  • Written expression, spelling, and written organization
  • Math calculation and problem solving
  • Study skills, executive functioning, and test-taking behavior
  • How academic skills connect to attention, behavior, and emotions.
  • Suspect dyslexia, dysgraphia, or other learning differences
  • Have a child with ADHD who is still struggling at school
  • Need updated data for an IEP, 504 plan, or private school admissions

Our tutoring is for students who need more than generic homework help. We focus on closing real academic gaps and strengthening executive functioning skills so your child can start, organize, and complete schoolwork with more confidence and independence.

Each tutoring plan is tailored to your child’s learning profile and, when available, is informed by school data and formal assessment results. Our team understands IEPs, 504 plans, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and learning differences, and we translate that knowledge into practical, week-to-week support that fits real family life.

For parents, we provide clear, brief updates after sessions and concrete suggestions you can use at home, so you are not left guessing what we are working on or how to help between sessions.

  • Reading intervention and comprehension support
  • Writing organization, grammar, and written expression
  • Math foundations and problem solving
  • Study skills and test-taking strategies
  • Executive functioning skills: planning, organization, time management, task initiation, and follow-through
  • Executive functioning support for families:

We know that executive functioning challenges affect the whole household, not just school. As part of tutoring, we offer parent-focused coaching that may include:

  • Setting up simple home routines for homework, packing backpacks, and tracking due dates
  • Creating visual schedules, checklists, and systems that match your child’s actual school demands
  • Breaking big projects into smaller, manageable steps you can walk through with your child
  • Strategies to reduce conflict around homework and increase your child’s ownership of tasks

Our goal is to support both the student and the parent. Students get direct instruction and guided practice; parents get realistic tools and language they can use at home, so progress continues long after each session ends.

  • Want more than “homework help” and are looking for targeted academic support
  • Have a child with ADHD, autism, anxiety, or a suspected learning difference who struggles to stay organized and complete work
  • Need practical, realistic strategies they can use at home to reduce school-related stress for the whole family

How the Process Works for Families

1. Consultation

We start with a brief phone or video consultation to understand your concerns, school history, and goals. Together we decide whether an academic assessment, tutoring, or a combination makes the most sense.

If you move forward with an assessment, we schedule testing sessions that fit your child’s energy and attention. If you begin with tutoring, we outline specific goals, frequency, and how we will measure progress.

You receive a clear explanation of your child’s profile, written recommendations, and time for questions. When appropriate, we can provide a summary for your child’s school team or collaborate with professionals who already support your family.
